I am looking for a Wellbeing Physiologist in the Birmingham / Coventry area to support the on-site health and wellbeing service. This peripatetic role also involves working with a diverse range of clients across the UK to deliver and develop a Wellbeing service that meets business and client objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Wellbeing Physiologist to ensure the effective delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives.

This role requires a proactive, client-focused individual qualified to at least degree level (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, or related fields, with experience in sports, medical, health, wellbeing or fitness environments. The candidate must have a sound understanding of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology, or nutrition, and be committed to driving positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering health screening assessments to patients.
  • Conducting individual and group health and wellbeing interventions.
  • Providing tailored evidence-based advice based on patient health profiles and behavioural change stages.
  • Formulating and implementing action plans according to treatment prescriptions and change stages.
  • Supporting patients with lifestyle-induced diseases in making sustainable lifestyle choices for chronic condition management.
  • Offering best practice guidance on nutrition.
