We are looking for an Occupational Health Technician to work in Govan, Glasgow for 3 days per week. This is an on-site position based at our client's premises, where you will undertake health screening procedures in accordance with company protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform health screening procedures, including baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis), health surveillance (audiometry, lung function testing), and drug and alcohol testing.
- Accurately record medical information in occupational health records and pass it to clinical staff for interpretation.
Qualifications and skills:
- No recognised professional qualification required for this position, but knowledge and experience in health measurements are essential.
- Approachable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), strong IT literacy.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach; able to prioritise and manage own workload; capable of working independently and in a team; strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
- Capable of working under supervision while recognising limits of practice.
Working hours and location:
- Part-time role, 22.5 hours per week.
- There may be a requirement to work the occasional night shift.
- Location: On-site at our client's site in Govan.
Salary:
The salary for this position is £25,000 pro rata per annum.
