I am looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Wellbeing Physiologist to join an Occupational Health team in Whitley. In this exciting role, you'll support the on-site health and wellbeing service, delivering Wellbeing Assessments and engaging Health Promotional activities. You'll work closely with the client to ensure their business objectives and needs are met, all while upholding core goals and values. Your role will include:
- To deliver lifestyle clinical assessments of patients.
- To conduct one-to-one and group-based health and well-being interventions.
- To provide evidence-based advice tailored to the patient's health profile (adiposity, biochemistry, blood screening) and stage of behaviour change.
- To formulate and implement written action plans based on treatment prescription, which is modified for the applicable stage of change.
- To support patients living with lifestyle induced disease to make positive and sustainable lifestyle choices for enhanced chronic disease management.
- Provide guidance and support to employees to make positive lifestyle changes, including nutrition and exercise habits.
- Give assistance and reassurance to clients during their medical tests.
- To deliver evidence-based exercise sessions to groups.
