The Opportunity
We currently have a number of exciting Paralegal vacancies within our Real Estate team in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the top-ranked property team in the region, working on high-profile matters for leading clients across multiple sectors.
These are hands-on, client-facing roles offering varied, technical, and rewarding work within a collaborative and supportive environment.
We Are Currently Recruiting for Two Key Areas:
- Leading on due diligence (reviewing and reporting on search results, title and enquiries)
- Managing and answering helpline queries
- Drafting and negotiating licences, renewal leases and other documentation
- Handling post-completion work (e.g. SDLT Returns, Land Registry applications, notifications)
- Drafting and negotiating substation transfers, leases, easements and wayleaves
- Advising clients on existing rights and land interests
- Reviewing and reporting on title
- Working with recent and evolving legislation in a technical legal environment
In Both Roles, You’ll Also:
- Manage transactions from start to finish, including surrenders, licences and lease renewals
- Lead on due diligence (reviewing and reporting on search results, title and enquiries)
- Handle post-completion work (e.g. SDLT Returns, Land Registry applications, notifications)
About the Team
The Real Estate team spans multiple sectors — financial services, industrial, energy, consumer, health and life sciences, and corporate support — offering you an exceptionally broad and varied workload with real potential for growth.
Our Real Estate team has an excellent track record of supporting career progression.
Many committed individuals who started with us as Paralegals have successfully qualified as solicitors via training contracts and alternative routes.
We Are Looking For
We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate strong academic ability and transferable skills, with a clear interest in real estate law and a ‘can do’ attitude.
For roles supporting our Energy Sector Client:
- We’re open to a range of experience levels
- Experience dealing with your own caseload
- Dedication to delivering excellent client service at all times
For our Telecoms Team:
- Previous technical experience in a similar real estate Paralegal role
- Experience of wayleave agreements, substation transfers and substation leases
Full training and development will be provided across both roles.
