Role and Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the billing and revenue assistant, billing in line with the client’s protocols.
- Act as the subject‑matter expert for billing requirements and practice‑group management.
- Work closely with e‑billing, finance, and business‑to‑keeper (BTK) teams to deliver a seamless billing experience.
- Conduct regular WIP reviews with fee earners to ensure prompt billing and strict financial hygiene.
- Support strategic growth within the business by reducing manual processes, automating tasks, and resolving rejections.
- Own billing matters involving other LLP offices or relationship firms, ensuring local offices comply with firm‑wide processes.
- Coordinate and resolve e‑billing rejections and collaborate with support teams for a single point of contact.
- Handle client queries on invoices and financial matters.
- Mentor junior colleagues, providing training and ad‑hoc support.
- Monitor time recording, chase open time, and assist with time queries.
- Work with the Dormant Balance team to reduce exposure and share best practices.
- Ensure adherence to internal SLAs and support lock‑up position reduction.
- Participate in ad‑hoc financial housekeeping projects such as WIP audits.
