Our Team: Sat within the Marketing department, our global events team is dedicated to managing our firm’s flagship client events. Through meticulous organisation and innovative approaches, we collaborate across the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the US to deliver high‑quality client experiences that are central to our brand.
Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client‑facing events from execution to completion; including seminars, roundtables, residential academies and networking receptions.
- Build strong relationships with partners, clients, marketing managers and business development leads globally to ensure seamless event execution.
- Support the Lead Marketing and Events Manager with delivery of major internal events, including Partner and Practice Group Conferences.
- Maintain event project trackers, including timelines, task assignments and progress updates.
- Create and distribute engaging event invitations that adhere to our brand guidelines.
- Manage distribution lists and ensure optimal attendance at events.
- Partner with preferred suppliers to find suitable venues, manage event production, source external speakers and handle merchandise.
- Manage event budgets with a strong focus on financial accountability and provide detailed ROI reports.
- Create content to promote events on the firm’s Intranet and LinkedIn.
- On‑site event support, including delegate registration, vendor management, AV support – locally and when required, internationally.
- Ensure that all events adhere to our internal policies relating to Gifts & Hospitality, Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainability.
- Instill confidence and offer the wider business expert guidance on all event‑related aspects.
Essential: Skills and Experience:
- Previous event management experience from scope to completion.
- Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, for internal and external audiences.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel in the UK and internationally as required.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within professional services.
- Experience with virtual tools such as Zoom, CrowdComms and Slido.
- Knowledge of InterAction and Vuture.
- Experience of project management tools, such as Monday.com.
