Overview
Role: Commercial Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join Konexo, Eversheds Sutherland’s managed legal services division. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract working as a virtual in-house lawyer dedicated to client needs, collaborating with clients’ businesses and the Konexo team to deliver integrated legal services using advanced technology.
Key responsibilities
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including purchase of goods and services, SaaS, professional services and outsourcing agreements.
- Advisory Services: Provide high-quality strategic legal advice on commercial transactions and compliance matters while mitigating risk.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding business objectives and delivering tailored legal solutions.
- Collaboration: Work with team members and other departments to deliver integrated legal services and design effective legal solutions for clients.
- Supervision: Supervise junior lawyers and paralegals and contribute to their growth and development.
- Continuous Improvement: Improve delivery efficiency through legal technology and improved processes.
Skills and experience
- Admitted to practice in England and Wales with 5+ years PQE.
- Commercial contracts experience in-house or in private practice.
- Commercial Expertise: Solid understanding of commercial law; experience with financial services sector is beneficial.
