Senior Lawyer - Corporate/Leveraged Finance - Birmingham - 4PQE+ (Multiple roles available)

Our team is a national Banking & Finance Practice Group with an enviable list of clients and transactions to our name. We regularly advise high profile clients, consisting of UK and global financial institutions, private equity houses, funds and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Key areas of focus for the team include:

• Corporate and Leverage Finance: We represent private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and lenders (both banks and private capital providers). We advise on a full range of leveraged situations, M&A, corporate finance, refinancing, asset-based lending, group re‑organisations and debt capital markets work.
• Real Estate Finance: We act for many of the major domestic and international banks as well as alternative lenders and corporate borrowers, on major bilateral, syndicated and structured transactions.

Role and key responsibilities:

We have multiple opportunities for Senior Lawyers (4PQE+) to join us in Birmingham, working as part of the national Banking Practice Group to support a broad range of banking transactions across Corporate Finance and Leveraged Finance. The candidate will gain experience of working with private equity sponsors, corporates, banks and funds. These roles will involve working on a wide range of finance matters.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Currently 4 PQE+
• Strong experience specifically in Corporate Debt/Leveraged Finance
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative and non‑hierarchical environment
• Motivated by delivering a great service for our clients while helping to develop business and provide input on training, marketing, knowledge management and other non‑transactional activities.
• Able to work independently as well as with other members of the team
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Able to support and develop more junior members of the team as needed
