Location: Belfast Contract: Full time, Permanent EverQuote is seeking a forward thinking Senior Software Engineer to join our market-leading insurance lead amplification platform! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be at the heart of a platform that connects millions of American home and auto insurance customers to major and regional providers. You will be instrumental in the design and delivery of our main public facing platform and the sophisticated supporting tools that power it. Joining a highly capable, motivated, and fully empowered team, you will work in a fast moving, Agile, and data led environment where a "test and learn" mentality and A/B testing are core to our success. You will shine as a mentor, providing technical insight while being empowered to innovate in both solution delivery and developer productivity. Agent First supporting cloud platforms at scale (AWS), working with infrastructure as code, container orchestration environments (preferably Kubernetes) and observability platforms. Hands-on Back-End Experience. You are proficient in Typescript. You are experienced in continuous integration and deployment tools. Desirable Criteria You have a security-first approach with a strong focus on secure delivery of application software and cloud infrastructure. You have experience with container based solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes. You are proficient in deploying infrastructure as code. UI development experience (e.g. React). Cloud native services (AWS). Engineering systems/applications at scale. Serverless architectures. Microservice based architecture. Continuous integration and deployment tools.
