How to prepare for a job interview at Everpool

Know Your Role Inside Out

Before the interview, make sure you thoroughly understand the responsibilities of a Functional Assessor. Familiarise yourself with the PIP and WCA processes, as well as the specific requirements for nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, paramedics, and pharmacists. This knowledge will help you answer questions confidently and demonstrate your suitability for the role.

Showcase Your Experience

Prepare to discuss your relevant experience in health and social care. Think about specific examples where you've made a positive impact or handled challenging situations. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers, making it easier for the interviewer to see how your background aligns with their needs.

Ask Insightful Questions

Interviews are a two-way street, so come prepared with thoughtful questions about the company culture, training processes, and what success looks like in the role. This not only shows your interest but also helps you gauge if the organisation is the right fit for you.

Emphasise Your Adaptability

Since the role offers hybrid working, highlight your ability to adapt to different environments, whether at home or in the office. Share examples of how you've successfully managed remote work and collaboration in the past, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
