We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing fashion retailer for an experienced Fashion Copy Writer / Content Executive to join their Head Office marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded individual with a passion for fashion, digital marketing, social media, and brand storytelling. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating compelling fashion content, managing social media activity, and driving customer engagement across digital platforms. Fashion sector experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging, on-brand fashion copy for social media, website content, email campaigns, blogs, product launches, and marketing materials.
- Develop and deliver seasonal content strategies designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, online traffic, and revenue.
- Plan, create, schedule, and manage social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Produce creative, trend-led content aligned with seasonal campaigns and brand identity.
- Support influencer outreach and collaboration campaigns, including campaign briefs, gifting, and partnership coordination.
- Work closely with internal teams to source imagery, create marketing content, and support wider brand campaigns.
- Create engaging photo and video content for use across social and digital channels.
- Support community management and customer engagement across all social platforms.
- Assist with paid social campaigns focused on audience growth and engagement.
- Monitor and analyse social media and content performance using GA4 and social analytics tools.
- Research competitor activity, market trends, influencer marketing, and emerging social media trends.
- Produce regular performance and engagement reports with recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure all content remains customer-focused, commercially relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Support the growth and development of additional sub-brands and their social presence.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a Copywriting, Content Executive, Social Media, or Digital Content role.
- Background within fashion retail, lifestyle, or a similar consumer-focused brand.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice across different channels.
- Excellent social media content creation skills with a strong understanding of current trends.
- Experience using Canva, Photoshop, or similar creative/editing software.
- Confident creating photo and video content using mobile devices or DSLR cameras.
- Experience using social scheduling, analytics, and listening tools.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commercial awareness with a results-driven approach.
- Passionate about fashion, branding, digital marketing, and online communities.
- Experience with paid social advertising is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence beneficial due to occasional travel requirements.
