- £40,000 + 5% salary bonus when training is passed, up to 10% performance bonus per year (PIP Assessor, 3 assessments per day)
- £42,000 + 5% salary bonus when training is passed, up to 10% performance bonus per year (WCA Assessor, 5–6 assessments per day)
Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.
Hours:
- Full-time (WCA/PIP): Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
- Part-time (WCA Only): 0.6 FTE (3 days); 0.8 FTE (4 days); PT must work Friday and can choose remaining days.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
- Review medical evidence and daily living impact
- Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Make objective recommendations based on evidence
This is an assessment-focused role — no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training:
- 12-week paid training covering:
- Assessment techniques
- DWP guidelines
- Report writing
You will be fully supported before working independently.

- Registered Adult Nurses (NMC)
- Occupational Therapists (HCPC)
- Physiotherapists (HCPC)
- Paramedics (HCPC) (PIP Only)
- Pharmacists (GPhC) (PIP Only)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
- At least 1-year active registration
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Confident IT and typing skills
