Our client, a leading property company to join its HR team as Head of Reward who is a Remuneration & Benefits Specialist to drive its total reward strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for to shape and deliver a competitive reward framework that supports business performance, attracts and retains top talent, and enhances the overall employee experience.
The successful candidate will oversee the annual reward cycle, reward governance and benefits strategy, ensuring the organisation continues to offer a market-leading reward proposition.
- Hours: Full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the company's total reward strategy, ensuring pay, incentives and benefits align with business objectives and performance goals.
- Own and manage the annual reward calendar, including salary reviews, bonus planning, commission structures, share schemes and benefits renewals.
- Design and maintain salary frameworks, job grading, job evaluation and benchmarking processes to ensure fair and competitive remuneration.
- Oversee bonus and commission schemes, partnering with senior leadership to ensure reward programmes drive performance and support commercial objectives.
- Manage employee share schemes in partnership with Finance, Legal and external advisers.
- Lead the employee benefits strategy, including the management of benefit platforms and insured benefits such as private medical insurance, life assurance and wellbeing programmes.
- Support reward integration and harmonisation activities relating to business acquisitions.
- Negotiate with benefit providers, brokers and insurers to secure competitive packages while managing costs effectively.
- Oversee company pension arrangements and ensure compliance with UK auto-enrolment legislation.
- Ensure all reward practices, commission arrangements and pay structures comply with National Minimum Wage legislation and other relevant UK reward regulations.
- Produce reward analytics and market insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Lead gender pay gap reporting, pay transparency initiatives and provide support for Remuneration Committee (Rem Co) activities.
- Prepare and deliver annual reporting on total reward across the business. Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in reward, compensation and benefits within a fast-paced, multi-site organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK reward legislation, including National Minimum Wage, pensions and reward governance.
- Experience managing share schemes, bonus and commission plans, and insured employee benefits.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and reward programme delivery skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement reward initiatives that support organisational growth and employee engagement.
