Salary- PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £40,000+ 5% bonus after training
- WCA Assessor (5 assessments per day): £42,000+ 5% bonus after training
Candidates should ideally be open to either PIP or WCA, depending on local availability.
The Role- Review medical evidence and supporting documents
- Conduct structured assessments (face-to-face, telephone, or video)
- Explore how health conditions impact daily living
- Assess whether activities can be completed safely, repeatedly, within a reasonable time, and to an acceptable standard
- Consider variability, including flare-ups and fatigue
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards
You'll receive a 12-week paid, full-time training programme covering assessment techniques, DWP guidance, report writing, and ongoing support before working independently.
