In this pivotal role, you will lead foster carer recruitment and assessment in your local area, helping to grow a resilient and nurturing network of foster families. You’ll be working closely with our dedicated marketing and fostering teams, receiving qualified leads and guiding families from first enquiry through to full approval.

You’ll be responsible for :
Lead local foster carer recruitment, from initial enquiry to assessment and approval.
Build strong, supportive relationships with prospective carers.
Conduct Initial Home Visits and deliver pre-approval training (Skills to Foster).
Supervise and support recruitment staff and assessing social workers.
Work in partnership with internal teams and community stakeholders to drive impactful recruitment campaigns.
Promote diversity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practices in all aspects of your work.
What We’re Looking For :
- Qualified Social Worker (BA/Master’s in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England, Social Care Wales, or SSSC.
- Experience in family placement or children’s services (2+ years post-qualifying).
- Confident in delivering training and assessing prospective foster carers (Form F).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Passionate about safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting foster families.
