The Role As a PIP Disability Assessor, you will:

  • Conduct three structured assessments per day via telephone and face-to-face consultation
  • Evaluate how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
  • Review medical evidence and health questionnaires
  • Produce clear, objective, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)

A non-treatment, adult-focused role centred on clinical reasoning and professional judgement.

Training Programme All successful candidates complete a comprehensive 6-week training programme covering:

  • Assessment techniques and best practice
  • DWP guidelines and requirements
  • Professional report writing and IT systems

Fully paid and fully supported.
Who We’re Looking For Registered adult healthcare professionals:

  • Registered Nurses (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability, General)
  • Occupational Therapists (adult-focused)
  • Physiotherapists (adult-focused)
  • Paramedics (adult-focused)
  • Pharmacists (adult-focused)

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year post-registration recent experience in an adult clinical setting
  • At least 1 year active NMC or HCPC registration
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Confident typing, report writing, and IT ability
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
