Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 + Bonus Scheme

Hybrid Working | Full Time or Part Time (4 Days Available) Monday to Friday | No Nights | No Weekends | No Bank Holidays

If you're looking to move away from shift work whilst continuing to use your clinical skills, this could be an excellent opportunity. We are recruiting registered healthcare professionals to join a leading provider of functional health assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Full training is provided and previous assessor experience is not required.

Salary & Benefits

  • PIP Assessment Service: £40,000 - £42,000 salary, £1,000 retention bonus after 6 months (subject to performance), £1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance)
  • WCA Assessment Service: £42,000 - £43,000 salary, £1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance)
  • Both roles include:
    • 5% quality bonus following successful completion of training
    • Quarterly bonus scheme after 12 months, with the opportunity to earn up to 2.5% bonus per quarter
    • Hybrid working
    • Full training programme
    • Monday to Friday working hours
    • No weekends, nights or bank holidays
    • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

The Role

  • Conduct functional health assessments for individuals claiming DWP benefits
  • Review medical evidence and supporting documentation
  • Assess how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
  • Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based reports
  • Apply clinical judgement in line with quality and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
  • Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
  • Adult clinical experience
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Good IT skills
