Clinical Assessment Specialist – Nurses & AHPs

Hybrid Working | Monday–Friday | No Shifts
Location: Reading (Hybrid: On-site & Home Working)
Hours: 9am–5pm | No weekends or bank holidays
Salary: £50,000 – £51,000 (pro rata for part-time)

The Role
You will carry out adult functional health assessments to understand how a person’s condition impacts their daily living.
This is not a treatment-based role. Instead, it focuses on:

  • Clinical assessment
  • Professional judgement
  • Evidence-based decision making
  • Structured, high-quality report writing

Assessments are conducted via telephone, video, and face-to-face at the Reading site when required.
Who We’re Looking For Healthcare professionals with 12+ months post-registration adult experience, including:

  • Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Paramedics

Experienced Disability Assessors are also encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Need

  • Active NMC or HCPC registration
  • Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
  • Good IT skills and time management
  • Ability to travel to the site when required
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
