Adult Clinical Assessor - Reading - £47,000 to £50,000 + Part Time Options
Adult Clinical Assessor (PIP / WCA) – Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists. Hybrid roles available across England. Full‑time positions available.
Work from home and in office, Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with no weekends or bank holidays. No long shifts.
Salary and Benefits
- PIP: £47,000 starting salary with £1,000 increases after 6 and 12 months (performance based) plus excellent bonus scheme.
- WCA: £50,000 starting salary with £1,000 increase at 12 months (performance based) plus excellent bonus scheme.

Role Overview
- Conduct phone and face‑to‑face assessments of claimants’ health and work capabilities.
- Review and analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
- Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pension (DWP).
Example Tasks
- Interview claimants to understand health conditions and challenges.
- Review medical records and write comprehensive reports.
- Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.
Training Program
Successful candidates will complete a 12‑week comprehensive training program covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year post‑registration recent experience in a relevant adult setting.
- At least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
