Nurse Assessor – Registered Healthcare Professionals - Homebased and Office Based

Location: Oxford + Other locations across the South West and South Coast of England (Hybrid – homebased & office based)

Salary: £37,500 – £42,000 OTE (up to £48,300 with bonuses)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm | No weekends or bank holidays

Contract: Permanent | Full-time

What you’ll do

  • Carry out functional assessments with claimants to understand how their health conditions or disabilities impact their daily life.
  • Use a structured approach to gather information through conversations and clinical questioning — no treatment or prescribing involved.
  • Review existing medical evidence and request further details where necessary.
  • Analyse how conditions affect mobility, cognition, daily activities, and ability to work.
  • Compile clear, concise medical reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) — no diagnosis required.

What we offer

  • Salary: £37,500 – £42,000 OTE (up to £48,300 with bonuses), 10% annual performance bonus, 5% one-off payment, plus comprehensive benefits package.
