Nurse Assessor – Registered Healthcare Professionals

Location: Watford + Other locations across the South of England (Hybrid – home & office)

Salary: £43,000 – £45,000 + bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday | No weekends or bank holidays

Contract: Permanent | Full-time

What you’ll do

  • Carry out functional assessments with claimants to understand how their health conditions or disabilities impact their daily life.
  • Use a structured approach to gather information through conversations and clinical questioning — no treatment or prescribing involved.
  • Review existing medical evidence and request further details where necessary.
  • Analyse how conditions affect mobility, cognition, daily activities, and ability to work.
  • Compile clear, concise medical reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) — no diagnosis required.
