Looking for your next opportunity? Everpool Recruitment is one of the biggest Health and Social Care Recruiters in the UK. We are hiring Functional Assessors across South West and South-Central England for Hybrid roles (home and office based).

Salary:

  • PIP Assessor (3 assessments a day): £45,000+ 5% bonus when completed training
  • WCA Assessor (5 assessments a day): £48,000 + 5% bonus when completed training

Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.

What You'll Do:

  • Review all media and supporting evidence of the claimant
  • Conduct structured assessments based on this evidence either face-to-face, telephone or video
  • Explore their typical day and real-world impact
  • Assess reliability: Can they do it safely, repeatedly, in a reasonable time frame and to an acceptable standard
  • Explore variability (good/bad days, flare-ups, fatigue patterns)
  • Record findings clearly and neutrally
  • Produce high-quality, justified reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards

Training:

12-week paid training (full-time) covering:

  • Assessment techniques
  • DWP guidelines
  • Report Writing

Fully supported before working independently.

  • Confident with IT and typing
