Salary:
- PIP Assessor (3 assessments a day): £45,000+ 5% bonus when completed training
- WCA Assessor (5 assessments a day): £48,000 + 5% bonus when completed training
Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.
What You'll Do:
- Review all media and supporting evidence of the claimant
- Conduct structured assessments based on this evidence either face-to-face, telephone or video
- Explore their typical day and real-world impact
- Assess reliability: Can they do it safely, repeatedly, in a reasonable time frame and to an acceptable standard
- Explore variability (good/bad days, flare-ups, fatigue patterns)
- Record findings clearly and neutrally
- Produce high-quality, justified reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards
Training:
12-week paid training (full-time) covering:
- Assessment techniques
- DWP guidelines
- Report Writing
Fully supported before working independently.
