We are recruiting registered healthcare professionals to join a leading provider of functional health assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Full training is provided and previous assessor experience is not required.
Salary & Benefits
- PIP Assessment Service: £45,000 - £47,000 salary, £1,000 retention bonus after 6 months (subject to performance), £1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance)
- WCA Assessment Service: £48,000 - £49,000 salary, £1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance)
- 5% quality bonus following successful completion of training
- Quarterly bonus scheme after 12 months, with the opportunity to earn up to 2.5% bonus per quarter

The Role
- Conduct functional health assessments for individuals claiming DWP benefits
- Review medical evidence and supporting documentation
- Assess how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
- Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based reports
- Apply clinical judgement in line with quality and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
- Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
- Adult clinical experience
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Good IT skills
