Disability Assessor (PIP/WCA) – Nurses, OTs, Physiotherapists, Paramedics & Pharmacists

£45,000-£48,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Lewes | Hybrid Working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm | No Nights, Weekends or Bank Holidays

Looking for a better work-life balance while continuing to use your clinical expertise? We are recruiting Functional Assessors to conduct assessments for the DWP, providing objective, evidence-based reports that help inform benefit decisions.

The Role

  • Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments
  • Review medical evidence and health questionnaires
  • Assess the impact of physical, mental and cognitive health conditions
  • Produce detailed reports using clinical judgement and reasoning
  • No prescribing, treatment planning or hands-on care
  • PIP Assessor: Approx. 3 reports per day
  • WCA Assessor: Approx. 5-6 reports per day

Salary & Benefits

  • PIP: £45,000 rising to £47,000 after 12 months
  • WCA: £48,000 rising to £49,000 after 12 months
  • 5% training completion bonus

Requirements

  • NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
