We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to take ownership of merchandise planning, range construction and in-season trading, while supporting and developing the Merchandising team. Working closely with Buying, Retail and Operations, you will drive commercial performance and deliver key sales, stock and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage in-season trading, identifying opportunities and risks to maximise sales and profitability.
- Oversee stock, allocations, replenishment, IBTs and markdown activity across stores and warehouse.
- Manage WSSI, Open-to-Buy, linecards and KPI forecasting.
- Build seasonal range, distribution and phasing plans aligned with customer demand and store profiles.
- Partner with Buying, Retail and Operations on future-season planning and delivery schedules.
- Lead and develop the Merchandising Administrator, ensuring optimum stock levels across all channels.
- Work closely with ASMs to optimise individual store performance, including seasonal store visits.
About You
- 3-4 years' merchandising experience, ideally within fashion or retail.
- Strong in-season trading, planning and ranging experience.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and Excel skills.
- Experience with WSSI management, OTB and linecards.
- Commercially focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous experience managing or developing a merchandising team member.
