Disability Assessor (WCA) – Hybrid Working

Location: Newport

Salary: £43,750 – £44,750 (Salary increases of £1,000 after 6 months)

Your Role

  • Carry out functional assessments via telephone and face‑to‑face appointments
  • Review medical evidence and produce clear, detailed reports for the DWP
  • Use your clinical expertise in a quality‑focused role—no rush, no targets
  • Manage your own caseload with autonomy and professional judgement

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist
  • Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience (adult setting)
  • Active NMC or HCPC registration
  • Confident communicator with strong report‑writing and IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied clinical caseload
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex health conditions
