Salary:

  • PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £39,500 to £45,300 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
  • WCA Assessor (5–6 shorter assessments per day): £42,000 to 48,000 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
  • Up to 10% quality and performance bonus.

Hours:

  • Full-time (WCA/PIP) Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm
  • Part-time (PIP Only) 0.6 FTE (3 days) 0.8 FTE (4 days) Can work any day of the week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
  • Review medical evidence and daily living impact
  • Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Make objective recommendations based on evidence

This is an assessment-focused role — no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.

Training:

12-week paid training covering:

  • Assessment techniques
  • DWP guidelines
  • Report writing

You will be fully supported before working independently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
  • At least 1-year active registration
