About the Role

Looking for a better work-life balance without leaving healthcare?

If you’re tired of relentless shift patterns, unpredictable hours, and physical burnout, this is your chance to turn your clinical expertise into a rewarding, structured role — with routes available on both our WCA and PIP pathways.

As a Functional Assessor, you won’t be delivering hands‑on care. Instead, you’ll conduct consultations (face‑to‑face, video, or phone) to understand how long‑term health conditions or disabilities affect people’s day‑to‑day lives and mobility. You’ll use your clinical expertise to write clear, objective reports that help individuals get the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough face‑to‑face, telephone, or video consultations with individuals living with a range of physical and mental health conditions
  • Analyse medical evidence and apply clinical judgement to assess functional capacity
  • Write comprehensive, objective, evidence‑based reports to a high professional standard
  • Maintain empathy, professionalism, and strict confidentiality throughout every assessment

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • True Work-Life Balance: — Fixed weekday hours (9–5) so you can plan your life, spend time with family, and enjoy your weekends again
  • Hybrid Flexibility: — Work 50/50 from home and site once your training is complete

  • Fully Paid Training: — 12 weeks of comprehensive, paid training to set you up for success
