Functional Assessor (PIP/WCA)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on location) rising by £1,000 at 6/12 months – Performance based

Become a Functional Assessor, supporting individuals applying for benefits doing either Work Capability Assessments (WCA) or Personal Independent Payment (PIP) on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Your Role
- Assess claimants' health and daily living via phone and face‑to‑face appointments for capability to work and work related activities or daily living and mobility.
- Review medical evidence and compile detailed reports for the DWP.
- Use clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed.

Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse, OT, Physio, Pharmacist or Paramedic.
- Minimum 1‑year post‑registration experience in an adult setting.
- NMC/HCPC registered.
- Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
- Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate.
- Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
- Experience working with complex health conditions.
