  • Hybrid working
  • A combination of homeworking and local office‑based assessments, giving you greater flexibility.

  • No previous PIP or Disability Assessor experience is required. You’ll receive a comprehensive 12‑week paid training programme, followed by ongoing support and development.

What will you be doing?

  • Assess how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily living and mobility.
  • Review medical evidence and information provided by claimants.
  • Use clinical reasoning and professional judgement to assess functional ability objectively.
  • Produce clear, accurate and detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
  • Ensure assessments are completed to a high professional and clinical standard.

What’s on offer?

  • Competitive salary + bonus opportunities
  • 5% training/approval bonus
  • Up to 10% quality and performance bonus
  • Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
  • No nights, weekends or bank holidays

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Option to buy up to 5 additional days
  • Pension scheme
  • Health & wellbeing support
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Employee discounts
  • Clear career progression
  • Ongoing training and clinical development

Who are we looking for?

We’re keen to hear from Registered Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Paramedics with at least 1 year of post‑registration experience.

You’ll need:

  • Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good report‑writing ability
  • Confidence using IT
  • The ability to apply clinical knowledge and professional judgement objectively

Previous PIP or Disability Assessor experience is not required — full training and support will be provided.

Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role.
