£42,000 starting salary + up to 10% bonus + £1,000 increase after 12 months

The Role
- Conduct WCA assessments via telephone and face-to-face appointments.
- Assess how physical, cognitive and mental health conditions affect functional ability.
- Review medical evidence and health questionnaires.
- Take detailed clinical histories and apply your clinical reasoning.
- Produce clear, accurate and objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Manage your own caseload while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
What We're Looking For
This role is specifically open to Registered Nurses | Occupational Therapists | Physiotherapists
You will need:
- Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in an adult-focused setting.
- At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Good report-writing and written communication abilities.
- Confident IT skills and the ability to work across multiple systems.
- Full right to work in the UK.

Full Training Provided, No previous Functional Assessor experience is required.
Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 12-week paid training programme, covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, clinical reasoning and report writing.
