Functional Assessor (PIP)
Location: Frimley
Salary: £[40000] - £[42000] per year + benefits
About the Role
We are looking for registered healthcare professionals to join our team as Functional Assessors, carrying out Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess how an individual's health condition or disability affects their daily living and mobility. Assessments are completed by telephone, video, or face-to-face, with findings recorded in a clear, evidence-based report for the DWP Decision Maker. You will not diagnose conditions, provide treatment, or make benefit decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical evidence before assessments.
- Conduct structured functional assessments.
- Assess the impact of health conditions on daily living and mobility.
- Produce accurate, objective, evidence-based reports.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and professional standards.
