Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 (Depending on location) (rising by £1,000 at 12 months - Performance based)

Full Time Only – Hybrid Monday - Friday, 9-5

Become a Functional Assessor, supporting individuals applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Your Role

  • Assessing claimants' functional ability/work-related activities and daily activities via phone and face-to-face appointments.
  • Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP.
  • Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed.

Essential Criteria

  • Registered Nurse, OT or Physio
  • Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
  • NMC/HCPC registered
  • Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
  • Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate
  • Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
  • Experience working with complex health conditions.
