Everpool Recruitment, one of the UK's leading Health & Social Care recruiters, is hiring Functional Assessors across South West and South-Central England. If you're looking to move away from shift work while still using your clinical expertise, this role offers excellent work-life balance, paid training, hybrid working, and clear career progression.
Salary:
- PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £40,000 + 5% bonus after training
- WCA Assessor (5 assessments per day): £42,000 + 5% bonus after training
Candidates should ideally be open to either PIP or WCA, depending on local availability.
The Role:
- Review medical evidence and supporting documents
- Conduct structured assessments (face-to-face, telephone, or video)
- Explore how health conditions impact daily living
- Assess whether activities can be completed safely, repeatedly, within a reasonable time, and to an acceptable standard
- Consider variability, including flare-ups and fatigue
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards
Training:
You'll receive a 12-week paid, full-time training programme covering assessment techniques, DWP guidance, report writing, and ongoing support before working independently.
