Location: Newport
Salary: £43,750 – £44,750 (Salary increases of £1,000 after 6 months)

Join our team as a Disability Assessor and enjoy a healthier work‑life balance while supporting individuals through the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) process on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Your Role
- Carry out functional assessments via telephone and face‑to‑face appointments
- Review medical evidence and produce clear, detailed reports for the DWP
- Use your clinical expertise in a quality‑focused role—no rush, no targets
- Manage your own caseload with autonomy and professional judgement
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist
- Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience (adult setting)
- Active NMC or HCPC registration
- Confident communicator with strong report‑writing and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied clinical caseload
- Experience supporting individuals with complex health conditions
