Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer
Full Time, Permanent
Up to £60,000 DOE
North West of England
Hybrid or Remote Working
Our client is a well-respected Costs Firm who pride themselves on client care and development of their team.
We are looking for experienced Claimant Costs Draftspersons’ / Costs Lawyers who preferably specialise in Court of Protection.
Job Details and Benefits:
- Full time, permanent
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexible working available)
- Hybrid or remote working with fortnightly meetings to one of their modern offices in the North of England.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format
- Preparing Costs Budgets in form Precedent H in accordance with Departmental requirements/workstreams
- Managing your own caseload dealing with complex matters.
- Client care and business development
What we need from you:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in costs – inhouse or external costs.
- Experience in bill drafting, budgeting and negotiations.
- Knowledge of Costsmaster
- Desire to grow and develop.
- Happy to discuss consultancy arrangements for the right candidate.
