Contracts Manager- Construction — Cheshire

We\’re looking for a seasoned professional to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects – from pre-construction through to handover.

This fast-paced, hands-on role demands strong leadership, sharp commercial awareness, and in-depth knowledge of fire regulations and installation standards. You’ll be working on projects ranging from £1.5k to £1.5 million, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and driving results that matter.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering complex passive projects
  • Leading tender handovers and pre-start meetings with clients, contractors & site teams
  • Building robust project plans and forecasts with achievable milestones
  • Managing procurement and material reconciliation to ensure best value and efficiency
  • Overseeing site teams to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery
  • Producing and managing RAMS and Health & Safety documentation
  • Coordinating subcontractors and external teams with clarity and precision
  • Maintaining a visible site presence to resolve issues on the ground

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in UK construction
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems prefered
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Tech-savvy – proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with project planning tools like MS Project or Asta Powerproject
