A Clinical Assessment Role for Experienced Practitioners
This role is suited to experienced, UK-registered clinicians who want to step away from hands‑on care while continuing to apply clinical reasoning, assessment expertise, and professional judgement in a structured environment. You will carry out functional clinical assessments with adults, evaluating how physical, mental health, neurological, and cognitive conditions impact daily living and functional capacity. This is not an entry‑level role. It requires confidence in assessment, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to produce clear, evidence-based clinical reports. This is a non‑therapeutic, decision‑support position. There is no treatment, prescribing, or manual handling involved.
The Role:
- Conduct structured adult assessments (telephone, video, and face‑to‑face)
- Analyse complex medical histories and supporting clinical evidence
- Assess functional impact, including variability, consistency, and risk
- Apply clinical judgement to reach balanced, evidence‑based conclusions
- Produce high‑quality, structured clinical reports
- Work autonomously within a supported, multidisciplinary clinical team
Clinical Scope
You will assess a wide range of adult conditions, including:
- Musculoskeletal and mobility‑related conditions
- Chronic pain and fatigue syndromes
- Mental health disorders
- Neurological and cognitive conditions
- Sensory and functional impairments

Essential Criteria (Strict)
- Active UK registration: NMC or HCPC (relevant to below professions)
- Adult‑only backgrounds: RGN, RMN, RNLD, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Minimum 12 months post‑registration experience
- Minimum 12 months UK‑based adult clinical experience
- Background in adult‑facing settings (acute, community, rehabilitation, or mental health)
- Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills
- Experience producing structured clinical documentation
- Confident IT skills and ability to work within digital systems
