This is a structured, assessment-focused role where you'll use your nursing knowledge, clinical reasoning and communication skills to understand how a person's health conditions affect their daily functioning and work capability.
No treatment.

The Role As a Clinical Assessor, you will
- Conduct structured assessments via telephone, video and face-to-face appointments
- Take detailed clinical histories across a wide range of adult conditions
- Review and interpret medical evidence and clinical documentation
- Assess functional impact, including variability, reliability and risk
- Apply evidence-based clinical reasoning to assessment frameworks
- Produce clear, accurate and structured clinical reports
- Work independently while being fully supported by an experienced clinical team
Adult Clinical Caseload You will assess adults presenting with a wide range of conditions, including:
- Musculoskeletal and mobility conditions
- Chronic pain and fatigue
- Mental health conditions
- Neurological conditions
- Cognitive impairments
- Functional and sensory limitations
- Long-term health conditions and complex clinical presentations

Essential Criteria To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Active UK NMC registration with no restrictions
- Registered Adult Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
- Minimum of 12 months' post-registration clinical experience
- Minimum of 12 months' recent UK adult clinical experience
- Experience working within adult healthcare settings, including acute, community, rehabilitation, primary care, secondary care or mental health services
- Strong clinical assessment and history‑taking skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning and professional judgement
- Experience maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Confident IT skills and ability to work across digital clinical systems

- This opportunity is only open to Adult Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD).
