Salary: £41,692 - £42,692 per annum + Bonus
Working Pattern: Hybrid (70% Homebased / 30% Site-Based)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

This is a structured, assessment-focused role where you'll use your physiotherapy knowledge, functional assessment skills and clinical reasoning to understand how an individual's health conditions affect their mobility, physical function and ability to carry out everyday activities and work-related tasks.
No treatment. No prescribing. No manual handling.
The Role As a Clinical Assessor, you will:
- Conduct structured assessments via telephone, video and face-to-face appointments
- Take comprehensive clinical and functional histories across a broad adult caseload
- Review and interpret medical evidence and supporting clinical documentation
- Assess functional impact, including mobility, variability, reliability and risk
- Apply evidence-based clinical reasoning within recognised assessment frameworks
- Produce clear, accurate and structured clinical reports
- Work independently while being fully supported by an experienced clinical team
Adult Clinical Caseload You will assess adults presenting with a wide range of conditions, including:
- Musculoskeletal conditions
- Orthopaedic conditions
- Neurological conditions
- Chronic pain and fatigue
- Mental health conditions
- Functional and mobility limitations
- Long-term health conditions and complex clinical presentations

Essential Criteria To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Active UK HCPC registration with no restrictions
- Registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 12 months' post-registration clinical experience
- Minimum of 12 months' recent UK adult clinical experience
- Experience working within adult healthcare settings, including acute, community, rehabilitation, outpatient, MSK or specialist adult services
- Strong clinical assessment and functional analysis skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making abilities
- Experience maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Confident IT skills and ability to work across digital clinical systems
