Keep the clinical skills. Leave the shift pattern behind.

You've built your career around assessing, supporting and understanding people. What if you could keep using those skills, but move into a role offering Monday-to-Friday structure, hybrid working and no evenings or weekends?

As a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical experience to understand how physical and mental health conditions affect a person's daily living, mobility and independence.

It's clinical assessment without treatment, allowing you to use the knowledge you've already built in a completely different setting.

Never worked as a Functional Assessor before? That's absolutely fine.

Full paid training and ongoing clinical support are provided.

What is a PIP Assessor?

You'll complete telephone, video and face-to-face consultations with individuals living with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.

You'll explore how their health affects everyday activities, including their ability to manage daily living tasks, maintain independence and mobilise safely and effectively.

You'll gather relevant information, consider the available evidence and use your clinical judgement and reasoning to produce clear, accurate and evidence-based reports. No medication rounds. No night shifts. No weekend rota. Your clinical skills aren't disappearing. You're simply using them differently.

Applications are welcomed from:

  • Registered General Nurses (RGN)
  • Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN)
  • Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD)
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Paramedics

  • Confidence using IT and digital systems
  • Ability to discuss sensitive information professionally and compassionately
  • Full Right to Work in the UK

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Your Experience Doesn't Have to Come With a Rota If you're ready for a role where your clinical experience still matters, but your working week looks very different, this could be your next move.
