Functional assessor with new bonuses available in Bristol for PIP and WCA. Hybrid remote roles are available for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Pharmacists. This is a great opportunity to step away from the front line while continuing to make a meaningful difference with your clinical expertise.

Role: Functional Assessor for either PIP or WCA

Location: Bristol

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM (No weekends, No evenings, No bank holidays)

Salary:

  • PIP (3 assessments a day) £40,000 increasing to £42,000 after 12 months based on performance
  • WCA (5 assessments a day) £42,000 increasing to £43,000 after 12 months based on performance

Bonus Opportunities: Up to 10% in performance bonuses, plus a 5% incentive after training, £2,000 bonus after approval completion (after 6 months)

Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available.

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical knowledge, assessment skills, and professional judgement to evaluate how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily life. You'll conduct structured assessments, compile evidence-based reports, and contribute to fair, impartial decision-making all while enjoying a better work-life balance and opportunities for professional development.

What you’ll do:

  • Use your clinical knowledge to assess individuals’ health and daily living needs
  • Conduct consultations via telephone or face-to-face (no treatment or hands-on care)
  • Assess and compile accurate reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)

What we’re looking for:

  • Either a registered Adult, Mental or Learning Disability Nurses (Band 5 upwards), Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Pharmacists
  • Registered either NMC or HCPC or GPHC
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience
  • IT literate and good typing ability
  • Right to work in UK (no sponsorship available)
