Functional Assessor (Nurse / Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist / Paramedic / Pharmacist)
£45,000 starting salary (dependent on location and experience) – Brighton | Hybrid Working – Monday to Friday | No weekends | No nights | Full Time.
Applicants must live within a 90‑minute commute of Brighton and be able to attend the office at least 3 days per week.
As a Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical knowledge to evaluate how health conditions affect a person’s daily life, producing clear, evidence‑based reports that support fair and informed decision‑making. No previous assessor experience is required; full training is provided.

What you'll be doing
- Conducting telephone, video and face‑to‑face assessments
- Reviewing medical evidence
- Assessing how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
- Producing accurate, evidence‑based reports
- Applying your clinical judgement in a structured environment
- Delivering a professional and compassionate assessment experience
What we're looking for
- Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
- A minimum of 12 months' post‑registration clinical experience
- Adult clinical experience
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Good IT skills
