Why Clinicians Are Making the Switch

If you’re an NMC or HCPC-registered professional who loves the clinical side of the job but is tired of the toll shift work takes on your health, your family, and your life outside work — this is a genuine career change, not just a new job.

You’ll use the same skills you use every day — clinical reasoning, evidence analysis, communication, empathy — to assess how health conditions affect people’s daily lives, and turn that into clear, professional reports. No hands-on treatment, no physical strain, no unsociable hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting face-to-face, phone, or video consultations with people living with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
  • Reviewing medical evidence and applying your clinical judgement to assess functional capacity
  • Writing clear, objective, evidence-based reports
  • Bringing empathy and professionalism to every interaction, with the highest standards of confidentiality

Pay That Actually Grows — Guaranteed No vague "performance-dependent" promises. Here’s exactly what you’ll earn:

  • PIP Pathway
  • Starting Salary: £40,000
  • 6 months (on approval): £41,000
  • 12 months: £42,000

Plus:

  • 5% one-off bonus on approval
  • Up to 10% annual performance bonus, paid quarterly
  • Overtime at 1.5x pay once approved
  • Optional upskilling for further salary boosts — File Handling (WCA, +£500) and Auditing (PIP & WCA, +£500)

The Work-Life Balance You’ve Been Missing

  • 12 weeks fully paid training — set up for success from day one
  • 50/50 hybrid working after training
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, with the option to buy more
  • 6% employer pension contribution
  • ShareSave scheme, a paid volunteering day, wellbeing support, and lifestyle discounts

Who We’re Looking For

  • Active NMC, HCPC, or GPhC registration — Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification clinical experience (adult experience, as you’ll assess ages 16–65)
  • Strong communication, listening, and analytical skills, plus confident report writing and IT use
  • Full Right to Work in the UK required (sponsorship not available)
