Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday–Friday | 9am–5pm | No Shifts

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + Bonuses (pro rata for part-time) (Up to £4,000 salary increase in the first year based on performance)

PIP Assessor (3 assessments a day)

What You’ll Do:

  • Review all media and supporting evidence of the claimant
  • Conduct structured assessments based on this evidence either face-to-face, telephone or video
  • Explore their typical day and real-world impact
  • Assess reliability: Can they do it safely, repeatedly, in a reasonable time frame and to an acceptable standard
  • Explore variability (good/bad days, flare-ups, fatigue patterns)
  • Record findings clearly and neutrally
  • Produce high-quality, justified reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards

Training:

12-week paid training (full-time) covering:

  • Assessment techniques
  • DWP guidelines
  • Report Writing

Fully supported before working independently

Qualifications (Required):

  • Minimum 1-year post registration experience in an adult setting
  • NMC/HCPC registered

  • Strong clinical knowledge of long-term conditions and functional assessment
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Confident with IT and typing
