You will be fully responsible for the operation and maintenance of critical / essential mechanical and electrical equipment within Buildings and Data Centre’s, ensuring no loss time incidents or impact to business continuity.
Advise the Facilities Management Team of changes in critical environment requirements
Currently recruiting for a leading blue-chip client with a global presence who are looking to hire a M&E supervisor / engineer to join their expanding team. Looking for a candidate who is electrically qualified within 18th edition electrical wiring regulations and has experience working within critical environments.
HV / LV AP and experience supervising also highly desirable, A good, all-round knowledge of Generators, electrical systems, UPS, Chiller Heating & Ventilation / Air Conditioning and building management systems and their methods of control.
High Voltage experience – desirable
Electrician with recognised qualifications (apprenticeship, HND, C&G)
18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations – essential
Previous experience in operating data centres/critical environments – desirable
IOSH or equivalent H&S training
Understanding of water hygiene (L8) – desirable
BMS Controls experience / HVAC experience – desirable
Operational experience of UPS, Standby Power and Critical Environment Cooling
Support critical environment related technical audits
