Evermore Care is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Ashton Manor, a luxury care home in Lancaster. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home.
- Manage, train, and motivate the housekeeping team.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules and procedures are followed.
- Monitor equipment and stock, reporting any issues or shortages.
- Work with the maintenance team to address any damages or repairs.
- Conduct regular audits of cleaning standards and staff performance.
- Hold staff meetings and monitor the completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior management experience in housekeeping, preferably within a care or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
