Do you want to work within a luxury care provider? Evermore Care are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Housekeeper to join our beautiful BRAND NEW service Astley View in Chorley Lancashire. We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper who wants to ensure that the health and safety of the staff and residents are at the forefront of every decision made. We are looking for someone who has an exceptional eye for detail and a high standard when it comes to keeping the service clean as well as adhering to guidelines and schedules. We are looking for a practical person, who can think on their feet and respond quickly, keeping the residents rooms, communal areas including the office, dining rooms and hallways clean, tidy and in a good condition!
Astley View will be a state-of-the-art new care home in Chorley, Lancashire. This 90-bed service offers the very best in personal, dementia, and respite care split over three floors. Each room is decorated to a high standard with fixtures and fittings including video calling facilities and stylish furnishings. This luxury service also offers residents a wide range of varied activities as well as its own beauty salon, ice cream parlor and cinema room.

Responsibilities
- To ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the service needs.
- To check all areas of the service are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the Head Housekeeper of any shortages.
- To identify and report damages, faults, and other related issues to the Head Housekeeper and maintenance department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge and experience of working within a care home.
- Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas, as well as a knowledge of managing and running a team.
- Experience in ordering stock as well as carrying out monthly stock checks.
