About the Role

Evermore Care is seeking experienced Bank Care Assistants for our state of the art care home, Astley View in Chorley, to support us across our day and night shifts. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative care environment. You will work closely with the team to ensure each resident receives personalised, thoughtful care tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
  • Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
