At Astley View Care Home, we're looking for dedicated Night Care Assistants to join our team and help provide exceptional care, comfort and reassurance to residents throughout the night.
Working nights is about much more than completing tasks. It's about being there when residents need support, promoting dignity and wellbeing, and helping people feel safe, comfortable and valued every single night.
Important Information
To ensure consistency in our care delivery, applicants must already have the Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from their agreed start date.

About Astley View
Astley View is a luxury 90-bed care home in Chorley, providing exceptional residential, dementia and respite care within a modern, purpose-built environment.
Designed to offer an outstanding quality of life, the home features a wealth of facilities including a cinema room, private dining room, beauty salon, video call lounges and welcoming communal spaces where residents can socialise, relax and enjoy meaningful experiences.
As a Night Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents continue to receive the highest standard of care and support throughout the night.
Working Pattern
38.5 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Shift Times: 8:00pm - 8:00am
This structured rota provides consistency and allows for a healthy work-life balance.

You’ll support residents with their individual needs, provide reassurance and companionship, and help ensure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night.
Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll build meaningful relationships with residents while delivering compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality person-centred care throughout the night
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and wellbeing needs
- Carrying out regular checks to ensure residents remain safe and comfortable
- Providing reassurance, emotional support and companionship when needed
- Promoting dignity, independence and choice at all times
- Supporting residents living with dementia and other complex needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care
- Maintaining accurate records and respecting confidentiality
- Helping create a calm, safe and welcoming environment throughout the home
